-A poll conducted by UC Berkeley, found that the younger generation (aged 15-26) were more likely than older Americans to
support restrictions on abortion, by 44% to 34%
-On November 5, 2003, President Bush signed the Partial Birth Abortion Ban into law providing protection to the unborn from
heinous and unthinkable death.
-The number of abortion providers declined by 11% between 1996 and 2000 (from 2042 to 1819), 87% of all U.S. counties lacked

-New organizations, such as Silent No More, are rising up to address emotional damage that abortion causes women. Pregnancy Centers across the country are offering
hope and healing to women affected by abortion.
